2008 was an exciting and prosperous year for Augusta County's newest community bank. We celebrated the opening of our first branch on February the 6th at 400 Lew Dewitt Boulevard in the City of Waynesboro. Construction on the cutting edge headquarters building finalized in early November. Frontier subsequently hosted a well attended open house celebration during the first week of December showcasing our new facility to the public.

We have achieved unprecedented success with business development efforts when considering the current economic environment. Sales call results exceeded expectations for transitioning strong banking relationships desiring personalized service and attention to Frontier Community Bank. We are pleased to report total asset growth of 249% in 2008 and look forward to stable and continued growth during 2009. Loan demand from highly qualified borrowers was robust in 2008 and the current loan pipeline is stronger than ever. The trials of the current economy continue to sway more people than ever to bank with individuals they know personally.
